What was going on between Twilight and Flash in the EQG movies was not true love. Twilight and Flash met by bumping into each other and looking at their eyes. They then felt something special. Flash didn't look like the smart type unlike Twilight. Their love was more, "Looks are important" rather than what's inside...feelings. It's dumb. :(
